JGR was founded in early 2017 by Janet Garfin Reniva, who continues to lead the organization as President and Chief Executive Officer. With the guidance of seasoned professionals in the debt collection industry, she launched the company as a sole proprietorship supported by a lean but capable team. In the second quarter of the same year, JGR secured its inaugural client, AIQON Unicorp Inc., marking the commencement of its formal collection recovery operations. This early success catalyzed significant business growth, culminating in JGR’s incorporation in March 2018.
The company’s name, JGR, reflects the initials of its founder. From its inception, JGR has been committed to delivering high-quality collection and recovery solutions across a broad spectrum of clients. While firmly rooted in the Philippines, the company operates with a global outlook, offering services tailored to the recovery of delinquent accounts from a diverse range of sectors, including banking, non-bank financial institutions, and emerging FinTech enterprises.
